Owner and consultant Dan Millstead has been working in the turf and groundskeeping industry since 1994. Beginning his career in the demanding field of golf course management, he was involved in every facet of the work. Becoming more versed in all areas of the management process, he ultimately became a Class A Superintendent in the industry.

From 2007 to the present, he has been the Turf Manager for Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City, Florida. This is where he honed his skills for the needs of the equestrian and farm community. This has included Race Track Development, Management, and Turf Dressage Arena Design and Development to his repertoire.

Now, Equine Turf consults and manages grounds at many of the high-end driving and eventing shows in the country including the grounds at Black Prong, Live Oak and Grand Oaks, and the Ocala Jockey Club.
